Let's face it, shit happens.
As a planner and month-of coordinator, I've been the behind the scenes "fixer" for many of these "oh shit" moments. I've carefully curated a kit that I haul around with me. Each item in this kit is in there for a reason. In the event that I am ever unprepared, or find myself needing something that is not in my kit, you can bet your bottom dollar an Amazon order is already on the way for it.
My kit has two different bags, one that I leave in the bridal suite for my bride and bridal party to access, and one that I oftentimes store behind the scenes that will have more of those tactical items for set up. In addition to these two kits, I also carry around a professional camera, in the off-chance that your photographer just doesn't show up. (This has never happened...but I'm prepared just in case it does!)
The bridal suite bag has an array of items including: a steamer, phone chargers, a speaker (the vibes HAVE to be right when you are getting ready), shaving cream, disposable razors, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, disposable tooth brushes, a first aid kit, individual highly requested medicine (Advil, Excedrin, Pepto, Tums, etc.), Off spray, Anti-chafe sticks, dress tape, nipple covers, sewing kit, 10 different sizes of safety pins, tissues, individual fans, eye drops, nail glue, French-tip press on nails, nail file, lotion, deodorant, baby powder, lipstick, lip gloss, fake rings for bride and groom, dress hanger, suite hanger, over the door hook to hang dress, extra black socks for the groomsmen (OMG this is always forgotten), hair spray, wax stick, extra combs, bobby pins, hair pins, chalk, wrinkle-release spray, stain-removal kit, perfume, extra pins for boutonnieres, ring boxes, extra ribbon, and more! The tactical kit has all of the things for set up: scissors, 10 different sizes of zip ties, super glue, duct tape, packaging tape, E6000, wax for candle holders, box cutters, a full tool kit, wire cutters, rubber bands, cordless hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, UBS blocks, stapler, string, fishing line, twine, an extra set of cake cutters, to-go boxes for my couples, AA batteries, AAA batteries a full tool kit, and more! Needless to say, I've got your back (and your momma's!)
