How to Pick the Perfect Wedding Venue.

Updated: May 8

You do not have a wedding date until you've secured your wedding venue. I said what I said.

If you have a specific date in mind, such as a lucky date or your dating anniversary, you can try to go for that date, but some flexibility may be needed. If you're set on having your wedding at a specific venue, then don't choose a date before looking at venues.

Things to consider when choosing the perfect wedding venue: Budget: The venue should offer good value for money.

Guest List: We want to make sure the venue can handle your guest count and any guest accommodations.

Location: The location should fit your style and budget.

Aesthetics: Does the venue's architecture, surrounding and ambiance align with your wedding aesthetic? Choosing a wedding venue is a lot like dating. You have to weigh the pros and cons! Tips?

  • Start searching early! Securing your venue should be your #1 priority as you begin your wedding planning process.

  • Be flexible with your date.

  • Visit the venue during day and at night.

  • Choose wedding pros who are excited to help you!

  • Go with a venue that reflects who you are and feels authentic.

  • Bring a notebook to jot down answers to your questions. (LS Planning & Co. clients-you will receive a list of questions to ask ALL of your vendors. <3)
