Dearest Gentle Reader...

I've never been so excited to go back to a venue for another styled shoot. I had the pleasure of working with a handful of new vendors, and some amazing friends! Katie, from KD Photography reached out to me and asked if I was interested in doing a styled shoot with her. She mentioned a single word that sparked my imagination: "summer." My mind immediately started racing, I knew I wanted to do something unexpected. With the recent craze of Bridgerton, I knew I wanted to pay a tribute, and what better way to do so than at the European venue of my dreams? If you know me, you know I'm a classic girl through and through. I shy away from color in my own personal style, so whenever I have the opportunity to "do color", I like to go all out. From the fresh fruits, hand-tied bow napkins, imported French china, feathers, and, of course, stunning multi-color florals, this shoot was a dream. Every detail came together perfectly. A couple of my favorite details were:

-The green velvet tablecloths, when paired with the gorgeous green iron background, almost giving the effect of a floating table. \

-The hand-sourced mismatched china, teacups, and brass candlesticks from PG Rentals.

-The juxtaposition of the vintage furniture, paired with the modern custom-built signage.

-The florals of my literal dreams, hand-sourced by Jade Floral Co. She went as far as spray-painting a grass to emulate the teal dress that Penelope wore (ifkyk).

-A vintage vanity, turned cake stand, with the most beautiful hand-painted cake from LB's Cakes.

-A whimsical and colorful floral dress sourced from Englishe's.

-The most majestic faux floral arrangements from Floral Reverie.

-The most magical stationary, handmade by Willow and Oak Paper Co.

-An audio guest book, where guests can leave you a personalized message.

This vendor team was one for the books. I can't wait to create magic here again.
